Deanna
Deanna is a blogger, writer, Ironworker, and home-owner. Growing up home-schooled gave Deanna a chance to follow her passions and inspired a love for reading. When she isn't busy working, she can be found working through a stack of books, trying to figure out a DIY she found on Pinterest, or exploring with friends
Luana
Luana Dolan is a property Accountant with Colliers International, who has more than 10 years of Accounting experience within the real estate/ property management market. In her spare time she enjoys reading, going to the gym and travelling with her daughter
Sheila
Sheila Anderson is the Vice President of Prairie Bear Books. She has a background in Early Childhood Development and has spent over 28 years working with families and children’s who live in poverty and or experience disability.
Most recently, Sheila is celebrating her 16 years with the Inclusion Saskatchewan where she is the current Manager of Employment Education and Transitions. She and the staff travel the province including Northern Saskatchewan to ensure students with disabilities and their families have the support they need.
Sheila is also the owner of Sheila Anderson Photography and Prairie Love Apparel and gifts on Etsy. She also loves spending time with her 2 tabby cats and dog.
Denise
Denise got the idea for Prairie Bear Books while working as a rural librarian where she encountered several individuals looking for gently used books for children and teens that lacked access to books. Until then she hadn't realized this was an issue for youth in Canada.
Denise also runs a small yoga and fitness studio in Saskatchewan. She is a freelance writer, avid gardener and believes in lifelong learning.
Erica
Starting writing when she was 12, it's not wonder that her first story was about her pet cat. Erica has worked as a pastry sous chef, an animal care attendant, and freelance writer. She has lived and worked in Hamilton, Ontario, Quebec, Vancouver, Saskatchewan, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Wyoming.
